One of the five kinds of situation the Cynefin framework distinguishes, each with its own relationship between cause and effect and its own way of acting.
A domain describes the nature of a system right now, not a property of a problem forever. The same organisation can have parts in several domains at once, and situations move between domains — a music festival has clear entry gates, complicated logistics and a complex campsite.
