Estuarine Mapping

1 day

Book a call No-obligation first call

A workshop that maps the constraints holding your organisation in place by how much energy and time each would take to change, so you start where change is actually possible.

Every organisation is held in place by constraints: rules, habits, budgets, structures, beliefs. Some would take a board decision and two years to shift; some could change by Friday. Change programmes stall when they push on the first kind and overlook the second.

How it works

We agree the focus on a call first. In the workshop the group names the constraints that shape the work and places each one on a map by the energy and the time it would take to change. Then we look at what sits within reach, what is too costly to touch, and what could change once a few small things move first.

What you get

  • A shared map of the constraints around one piece of work, by the cost and time to change them
  • The changes within reach now, and the ones not worth the energy
  • A short list of small experiments to start with, where the map shows room to move
