A workshop that maps what your organisation's people, tools and structures actually make possible, including the capabilities nobody designed but everyone relies on, and what could be put to new use.
Every organisation is full of things that make some actions easy and others hard: tools, rules, rooms, habits, relationships. Affordance mapping makes them visible, including the ones nobody designed but everyone uses.
How it works
We agree the focus on a call first. In the workshop the group lays out the people, tools and structures involved in a piece of work, and maps what each of them actually makes possible or gets in the way of, from experience rather than from the org chart.
What you get
- A shared map of what your current setup enables and what it blocks
- Capabilities you already have that could be put to new use
- A short list of small changes to try where the map shows friction
