Complexity science applied to human systems, drawing on the natural sciences, anthropology and cognitive science — the field in which Dave Snowden's work, including Cynefin, sits.
Anthro-complexity takes seriously that humans are not ants: we act on identity, narrative and intention, we are aware of the system we are in, and we change it. It favours approaches grounded in how people actually make sense of things over idealised models of how they should.
